ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced that Innovate!, Inc (Innovate), a leader in Information Technology Consulting, has been certified as a participant in its coveted 8(a) Business Development program for a nine-year period. Innovate can now receive sole-source contracts up to $3M and can bid for set-aside contracts of any size in competition with other participants in the 8(a) Program.

Companies that participate in the SBA 8(a) program receive business development assistance from the SBA and other government agencies. Innovate plans to work closely with the SBA and agency OSDBUs to take the fullest advantage of their 8(a) certification and continue to develop excellent long-term business relationships by helping its customers offer accessible solutions.
“We feel honored to have been accepted into the SBA 8(a) program” said Lily Thomas, President and Founder of Innovate. “We are grateful to our large business partners for giving us the opportunities to demonstrate how a small business can deliver services on par with industry-leading (and much more expensive) firms. We’ve worked hard to build a successful business and this certification will provide us with the extra push needed to be even more competitive and make our services available to even more federal clients.”

Through a slim operating profile, practice of hiring highly qualified personnel, and an impartial and business focused culture, Innovate has provided clients with tremendous value by delivering measurable results. The quality of Innovate’s work is best summarized by the numerous awards and recognitions Innovate’s clients have won for projects Innovate delivered. The 8(a) certification puts Innovate in a better position to continue to bring high quality services to the Federal Government and to achieve Innovate’s ultimate mission of making long term impact in our clients’ organizations.

About Innovate, Inc.
Innovate is a “green” consulting firm founded in 2002 and we are passionate about pursuing environmentally sustainable solutions for our clients and about having our business be a demonstration of how these environmentally sustainable solutions can be implemented in a cost-effective manner.
