Key Innovate Project Wins 2008 GCN Award for Agency IT Achievement
Innovate personnel have been key players in the development of EPA’s GeoData Gateway (GDG) and EPA Metadata Editor (EME). These two projects are cornerstones of EPA’s comprehensive metadata sharing and management framework. On October 20, 2008, Government Computer News honored EPA’s geospatial metadata framework as one of the top 10 government agencies whose information technology initiatives are being recognized as the best of 2008.
